Hello
A safe place to stay for the night or many is the car park in front of the E leClerk super store in St Pierre on Oleron island, you can easily find this as it is the main route of the island, when you drive over the connecting bridge you must continue on the D26 til it joins the D734,follow the D734 road towards St Pierre,do not drive to the town but carry on for 1 kilometre, then at the round about take the route des mirouelles, there you will find the superstore, also cheap fuel 24 hours, usually the store is closed sundays, but if you drive back down the D734 for 700metre's the road D724 takes you to La Cotinierre, here near to the Police station is a small shop open all day's,very handy to find this shop. You can also find a place to stay north on the D734,drive for 4 kilometres or so throught St gilles and through cheray,D273E1 is the road to take, fine the Vignoble maxime Pinard and to the left is an area for free staying the night, popular and safe,if you wish you can follow this road further and find another place next to the municipal recycling station,
